FULTON – Three community briefings are scheduled to answer questions about the 2022 Fulton Block Builder (FBB) programs and the application process.
Meetings will be held on Tuesday January 11 at 6 p.m. Thursday January 13 at 6 p.m. and Sunday January 16 at 2 p.m. All meetings will be held at the Fulton Polish Home, 153 W 1st St S, Fulton.
The decision to hold three meetings follows COVID-19. FBB committee members want to make sure everyone stays safe while having the opportunity to learn about FBB programs. All who attend meetings are urged to dress up and socially distance themselves. The committee believes that each of the three meetings will be shorter than a large one, this should also help with safety.
Members of the Fulton Block Builders committee will explain three types of grants: FBB Block Challenges, a neighborhood revitalization program that encourages groups of neighbors to collaborate on exterior improvements to the home; FBB Pride Grants, which introduce cultural and aesthetic enhancements to the city; and the FBB Paint Fulton Grants, which provide historic painting options to homeowners.
2022 is sure to be another amazing year for this program and FBB wants everyone to have the chance to get involved. You will find more information on the FBB website: https://www.fultonblockbuilders.com/apply/.
