Hempstead, NY – Hofstra’s men’s basketball team will wrap up the regular season on Monday when they host Charleston. The game was originally scheduled to be played on Jan. 5 but was postponed due to COVID protocols in Charleston’s schedule.
Tipping at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibit Complex is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Tickets are available for purchase at HofstraTickets.com, by calling (516) HOF-TIXX or by visiting the Hofstra Athletic Box Office in the lobby of the Mack Sports Complex during regular business hours. On match day, the box office will open one hour before tipping.

Hofstra picked up his 20th victory of the season on Saturday with an 82-67 win over William & Mary. Senior Omar Silverio led Hofstra with 20 points, while a graduate student Jalen Ray contributed with 19. Junior Aaron Estrad had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Hofstra’s 20-win season is the 24th all-time in program history and 15th at the NCAA Division I level (since 1966-67).
Charleston is 16-13 overall and 8-9 in Colonial Athletic Association play after a narrow 80-79 loss at Drexel on Saturday. Dimitrius Underwood had 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists for the Cougars.
Monday is the 16th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Charleston with the Pride leading, 8-7. The streak began when the Cougars joined CAA in 2013-14. The teams did not meet last season. Hofstra won the previous meeting this season, 76-73, in Charleston on Jan. 27 as Estrada picked up 30 points in the win.
