Verve Aus appoints leader of new Quant/Analytics branch

In Australia, Verve, a specialist in culture, community panels and smart digital insights, has appointed Rikki Pearce as managing director and head of its new Global Advanced Quant and Analytics practice.

Based in London, Verve also has offices in Manchester, Chicago and Iasi, Romania, and a Center of Research Excellence (CoRE) in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Sydney, Australia office was its first overseas location in 2009, and it recently added an Australian CoRE.

Pearce joins News Corp, where she served as head of audience intelligence; Previously, she held the position of Senior Manager, Member Strategy & Program Design at the airline Qantas, having been responsible for strategic research and ideas for the latter. Previously, she was a Quant/Qual Researcher at Ergo Strategy and Senior Consultant, Client Strategy at Deloitte Australia.

In his new role, Pearce (pictured) will work alongside Dan Alexander-Head, who joined Verve’s partner company Potentiate in fall 2020 as chief innovation officer; and Jason Buchanan, who recently created the company’s consumer engagement business unit, Verve Collaborations. These three people will form the core management team and the company plans to grow the Australian operation to ten people by the middle of the year.
